About The Planning Playbook

You may have heard the famous quote “If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail” and truer words have never been spoken. Many people don’t achieve the goals they set for themselves which leaves them feeling behind, defeated and unsatisfied with where they are in life. The truth is, while we know what we want to accomplish in life we often fail to accurately plan how we will achieve it. More than five years ago, Durelle and Samantha Bailey stumbled on a solution that changed the trajectory of their lives and resulted in them achieving every goal they created both individually and collectively. With Durelle’s decade of experience in the military and Samantha's decade of experience in corporate they combined what they learned about institutional success and created a system that would help them reach success in their personal lives.

In December 2023, Durelle, who is also a social media influencer shared a video on how they meet every year in what they call an Annual Strategy Meeting to discuss and plan out their goals. That video went viral reaching over 20 million people across the globe, and has since been featured in top media outlets. With thousands of people wanting to understand more about how they do it, Durelle and Samantha have shared their system and called it “The Planning Playbook”, helping couples and singles, to businesses and entrepreneurs. The Planning Playbook has grown from a system to a community.

Today, The Planning Playbook includes a goal setting and tracking spreadsheet, a budgeting tool, a webinar and will soon include a course and one-on-one sessions to plan and track progress with Durelle and Samantha. The Planning Playbook is the system that allowed Durelle and Samantha to build two homes before the age of 27, travel to more than 12 countries together, save six figures, invest their money, complete six degrees between the two of them, and launch two six figure businesses. The Planning Playbook is for everyone – no matter your income, age, relationship status, location or goals. It is a flexible system that acts as a blueprint to success with just enough structure for anyone to adopt and make it fit their specific lifestyle and needs.
